As Jagged Little Pill turns 20, let’s look back at her LGBT-inclusive career highlights.

1. She shared a spin-the-bottle smooch with Sarah Jessica Parker in a 2000 episode of Sex and the City.
2. In 2004 she revealed that she had become an ordained minister, partly because she wanted to “marry some of my gay couple friends.”
3. In 2006 she had a memorable arc on Nip/Tuck as Poppy, Dr. Liz Cruz’s asshole of a girlfriend.
4. The video for her 2005 video “Crazy” featured a lesbian twist at the end. “I’m always trying to impress my best friend who’s gay — she’s the best,” she told The Advocate. “I thought, Wouldn’t it be funny if I’m stalking this guy the whole time, but it’s just because I’m upset that his girlfriend is my ex-girlfriend?”
5. In concerts and on Jagged Little Pill Acoustic, she alters the last verse of her hit “Ironic,” singing, “It’s like meeting the man of your dreams / And then meeting his beautiful husband.”
