After more than a year of posting nudie photos to his adult Tumblr, Britney-defending Internet sensation Chris Crocker has finally transitioned into gay porn. Subject of the recent HBO doc Me @ the Zoo, the flamboyant Tennessee native filmed a hardcore sex scene on the popular porn site MaverickMen.com with then-boyfriend Justin Goble, and he also signed a one-year deal with OLB Media to create, develop, and manage his own porn website, ChrisCrockerXXX.com. Crocker chats with the decidedly less porny Gay.net about his hot new scene, his ex, and his budding career as an adult film mogul.
Gay.net: You’ve been talking about making the move into porn for a long time now. What took so long, and why did you choose Maverick Men for your big debut?
Chris Crocker: It took a long time because I wanted it to be the right situation. Doing porn is a big leap. I did it with the love of my life, and I did it with the Maverick Men because I knew them for so long. There was trust there.
Tell me more about the decision to shoot the scene with your boyfriend, Justin Goble. Now that you're no longer dating, is it weird for you that your sex will live on in Internet history?
I knew if I was going to do a porn while in a relationship, I needed to do it with the person I was with, and Justin wanted to do it as well. I still consider him the love of my life — so far, at least. I don't know what the future holds, but for now we're on pause. I don't regret it, because at the moment, it was very real. It does feel a little awkward for us to be apart right now and me promoting the scene, but everything happens for a reason.
What were the most fun and the most challenging parts of shooting the scene with the Maverick Men?
The most fun was just being able to get to know them. Justin and I had a blast enjoying their company and getting to know them as people before shooting. The only challenge was douching. I'm used to being a top, so that was new to me.
Who are some of your favorite gay porn stars?
I love Tony Newport, Seth Knight, Zane Michaels, Max Ryder, Jake Bass — just to name a few.
What can we expect from ChrisCrockerXXX.com, and what will set it apart from other gay porn sites?
I was just talking about this with Zane. I see it as a sex diary. I have so many long-distance friends who I've wanted to fuck throughout the years, and I think I'll do a lot of finally meeting those people and then fucking. I think people seeing the initial interaction, chemistry, and story will add to the sex appeal.
