Get to know SK8, a recording artist who’s been busy burning up the dance floor with club singles like “One Love” and “Crazy in Love.”

1. What turns you on, creatively or otherwise?
SK8: I often find myself in bizarre situations and love writing about the details of these escapades. My friends say I’m a magnet for stimuli that results in extremes, so I guess that means I have a lot of material to work with. I am curious about everything and never hesitate to explore no matter what the consequences. Even if something turns out to be a fiasco, I always find a way out of it — and there goes another verse for the next song!
2. What’s a good tip for someone who wants to be you for Halloween?
Bikini, faux fur coat, ribbon tiara, and a cocktail that is not mixed with cranberry juice, an outfit hazard.
3. Which celebrity’s hair do you covet most?
Ann-Margret when she was shagging Elvis.
4. What would your death-row last meal be?
A hit of E and a piña colada with eight cherries.
5. What’s your juiciest vice or guiltiest pleasure?
Throwing fruit from my 16th-floor terrace into the security booth garden. Pet stalking — looking for dogs and cats outside who I can pet. Poking holes in every chocolate in the valentine box to see what’s in it. Warner Channel in Sao Paulo.
6. What extravagant purchase should probably make you feel guiltier?
Anything done while drunk at Guitar Center on 14th Street with my friend Carolyn.
7. When’s the last time you wanted to slap someone?
About an hour ago at the crowded grocery store. She finished emptying her cart then ferociously pushed it into the rest of us waiting there. Bitch.
8. What most likely made that stain on your outfit?
A Tide pen which I consistently use, yet it never works out.
9. Describe your favorite undergarment.
A nude thong purchased in Floripa during Carnival — it literally vanishes into my skin. I have tried them all and there is nothing like this one.
10. What’s a lie you’ve told more than once?
“The room key was never in my purse.”
BONUS: Where do you see yourself in five minutes?
Downloading the Apogee driver for DP8. Oh yawn, don’t print that!
